Students who wish to obtain job related experience as part of their education are encouraged to investigate the engineering co-op program. In this program juniors and seniors may elect to work full time for six months and then attend school full time for six months and not be disenrolled from the degree program while working. This program affords an excellent opportunity for students to make a good wage and discover what people are doing with computers outside of the university. For more information, call UNM Career Services at 277-2531. Their office is located in the Student Services Center, Room 220.
UNM Information Technology Services (ITS) hires students in a number of different capacities that are relevant to the study of computer science. ITS is located at 2701 Campus Blvd, and their telephone number is 277-8140.
