Biography
Shuang (Sean) Luan has been a professor at the University of New Mexico since 2004. His research, sponsored by the National Science Foundation and National Institute of Health, has focused on solving biomedical engineering problems using computational geometry. He has developed multiple algorithms and software for improving radiosurgery that are licensed by the marketing leaders in the radiation oncology.
