Pre-admission Graduate Information Form


Note: You MUST also fill out a formal (written) application form and submit supporting documentation to be considered for Computer Science Graduate admission. Computer Science Procedures differ from those of other areas of UNM, and the process also differs for international and resident students.

Please look at our policies and forms in addition to filling out this online form. This form includes the primary information used by the CS Graduate Admissions Committee to evaluate applicants.

Fall Semester Application Deadlines

Priority for admission and consideration for financial aid (including TA and RAships) will be given to applications received by January 15. International applications will be accepted until March 1, and domestic applications will be accepted until July 15.

Spring Semester Application Deadlines

Priority for admission and consideration for financial aid will be given to applications received by August 1. International applications will be accepted until August 1, and domestic applications will be accepted until November 15.

All materials, including completion of the Pre-admission Graduate Information Form, are required to be at the offices of the Department of Computer Science at that time.

Finances

The department is able to support a limited number of graduate students through teaching assistantships. The allocation of these assistantships is competitive, and is reviewed each semester.
