He married Annie Lavina Gilmore. Annie was born February 8, 1889. Annie was the daughter of Peter Mcclure Gilmore and Nancy Permilia Camellia Elizabeth Jane Gilmore. Annie died 1971 at 82 years of age. At 23 years of age Annie became the mother of Evangeline Crowder April 6, 1912. At 29 years of age Annie became the mother of William Durward Crowder November 23, 1918. At 41 years of age Annie became the mother of Archie Burt Crowder March 8, 1930.

At 23 years of age William became the father of Evangeline Crowder April 6, 1912. At 30 years of age William became the father of William Durward Crowder November 23, 1918. At 41 years of age William became the father of Archie Burt Crowder March 8, 1930.

William Rush Crowder and Annie Lavina Gilmore had the following children:

6 i.Evangeline³ Crowder was born April 6, 1912. Evangeline died Unknown.

+ 7 ii.William Durward Crowder (still alive).

8 iii.Archie Burt Crowder was born March 8, 1930. Archie died April 30, 1942 at 12 years of age. In the family bible kept by William Rush Crowder there is a note below the date of death for this child: "Age twelve years, one month, and twenty two days."
