Classes

CS341-001 Computer Architecture and Organization -- Spring 2008

I am periodically involved in TA or tutoring work with the CS department at UNM. Currently I am a TA for CS341. If you are one of my students, please see the classes page for my office hours, resources and weekly lab assignments.

Research

I'm currently involved in the Research Experience for Undergraduates program. I'm currently involved in a number of research areas with this program, including machine learning techniques for malware detection, and artificial intelligence for game playing.

My primary research project currently is AI for general game playing (GGP). In GGP, rather than knowing what game they're trying to play in advance, the game players are given the game rules at runtime; it's possible (and in fact very likely!) that the game will be one the player's never encountered before. Rather than rely on human experts on a particular game to devise specific strategies for playing a game, the AI must analyze the game and determine these strategies by itself.

Projects

I'm involved in a number of interesting class, research and personal projects. Check out the projects page for information on my current and past projects. Some of my work I make availible for use under the GNU GPL; binary and source downloads are avaialible for some of my completed work.
