Hi,
Welcome to the webpage of Navin Rustagi. I have taken up a Post Doctoral research Position at Rice. This webpage is in the process of moving to Rice as well and no longer maintained. I was a graduate student at the University of New Mexico. My advisor was Prof Jared Saia . I am interested in the general area of distributed algorithms. My specific interests include (Security)/(self healing) issues for scalable and distributed networks. I am also interested in game theory with special emphasis on Network games.

A brief Bio

I was born and brought up in Durgapur, which is the steel city in the state of West Bengal in India. I did my schooling at St Xavier's and D.A.V Model respectively. Thereafter I went to Chennai, capital city of the state of Tamil Nadu in India, to pursue my undergraduate and post-graduate degrees in Mathematics and theoretical Computer Science respectively from Chennai Mathematical Institute. Since then I have been in Albuquerque, New Mexico. My family resides in New Delhi, and I try to go visit them every year. I also spent a wonderful 6 months in Europe visiting Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Barcelona and Sapienza University of Rome.
