W E L C O M E . . . to the Albuquerque Vipassana Sangha web site. We are a sangha in the Theravada Buddhist tradition. Our sittings and other gatherings are open to all. We always like to see new faces and old friends. Please join us!
Announcements
Jason Siff in New Mexico through December 16. Jason Siff is doing a residency November 4 through December 16 with the Santa Fe Vipassana Sangha. Jason will come to Albuquerque during his visit to lead a study group at the Wat on Nov. 17, Nov. 24, Dec. 1, and Dec. 8. Each study will include a 30 minute sit, a presentation by Jason, and discussion. There is no need for advance registration, just come to the Wat at 6:30 pm on these Monday evenings. Jason will also co-lead a non-residential workshop at the Center for Action and Contemplation on Saturday and Sunday, November 22 and 23. Please see the workshop flyer for details. Please note that AVS is not sponsoring these visits by Jason to Albuquerque. However, Jason is one of our regular resident teachers and we are happy to have the opportunity to study with Jason while the Santa Fe sangha brings him to New Mexico.
