A way to help in Burma (excerpts from email from Spirit Rock): The lineage of our meditation practice has its roots in Theravada Buddhist practices learned by our teachers from their teachers in the monasteries of Burma and Thailand. Spirit Rock has supported the work of The Foundation for the People of Burma (FPB) who has been working closely in specific communities in Burma for many years.
