Useful LinksQuestions in chronological order 2007 cs591: Networks and Distributed Systems The CS department's Comprehensive Exams page with general information, and information about all three parts of the exam. |
These pages are meant to help UNM CS students prepare for the systems portion of the Ph.D. comprehensive exam. They grew out of a special topics class I taught in the Fall of 2007. To select study topics and help students get ready for the comps, I collected all previous systems exams I could find, cataloged them, and assigned a weight to each question. The weight is based on how many questions a given topic has received in the past, how long ago these questions were asked, and how many points they were worth. In other words, I wanted to find the topics that seemed most important to the system comps. Use the side panel to navigate these pages. They are still under construction and I plan to add links to other resources; e.g., papers, books, and web sites that contain information about material covered in the systems comps. |
