RESEARCH
I moved to the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, where I work as a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Tony Zador.
I finished my Ph.D. with professor Barak Pearlmutter and his "Brain & Computation Lab". This research group is part of the Hamilton Institute at NUI Maynooth, Ireland.
Previously, I worked for the Center for Neuromagnetism, New York University, School of Medicine, headed by Dr. Rodolfo Llinás.

My studies and research work focus on Computational and Theoretical Neuroscience and in getting a better understanding on how the brain encodes information.  My interests include also Signal & Image Processing, Complex Systems, Information Theory and Machine Learning.
ACADEMIC
Ph.D. in Engineering. Hamilton Institute. National University of Ireland, Maynooth.
M.S. in Electrical Engineering from UNM (University of New Mexico, Albuquerque), and undergraduate studies in Electronics Engineering from UPB (Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana). UPB is located in Medellín, COLOMBIA.
