Cowboy Mounted

The horse's name was Bones. I was given Bones for the summer because he was slow and lazy. You absolutely couldn't get him going faster than a trot. One time Bones stepped in a prairie dog hole and fell over sideways. Luckily I wasn't hurt because Bones fell partially backwards and my feet went up in the air as I rolled off.

Tim and I used to ride together a lot. I remember, up by a dirt aqueduct, building a raft and then floating along. Our horses followed and we lit up our corn cobs.
