Yours truly atop 13,772 ft. Grand Teton in 1959.
After teaching us for a full day about pitons, etc., etc.,
Jake Breitenbach led 5 of us up Grand Teton. The first day
we reached a saddle near the top where we camped. On the second day
we reached the top.
Two years later, Jake was killed climbing Mount Everest.
