The cliffs near the top are about 50 feet high and, I guarantee you, they are *much* nearer vertical than they appear in the picture. Hey, Nat, remember climbing this one? And, aren't they nearly vertical? There is only one place that I know of where you can get up without rope. The top is a fairly flat long narrow rectangle. From the top you get a beautiful view of the San Juan mountains in Colorado to the north.
