Grand Teton

From the October 2, 1959 Sandia Lab News . . the caption read:

"MAGNIFICENT VIEW of Grand Tetons National Park in Wyoming is enjoyed by Sto Bell (5122) from a rare vantage point - the top of Grand Teton Peak more than 13,000 ft. high. Sto reached the top on the second day of the climb with a party of four climbers and guide."

The guide was Jake Breitenbach who died 5 years later when he fell into a crevasse while climbing Mt. Everest.
