Your grade in this class will be based on four factors:
Each of these will be discussed further below. Grading will be on a curve, but undergraduate and graduate students will be graded on separate curves. The classwork for the two populations are largely the same though I, of course, expect a higher caliber of work from the graduate students. (Not that the undergrads should get the idea that they can slack off -- just that the grad students should be able to contribute more depth by virtue of their greater experience.) The major difference in work between the populations will be in the final project; more on this subject below.
