There will be a small number (maybe 4 or 5) of homework assignments, which will include a mixture of mathematical exercises, informal analysis, and short programming assignments. Homework is due at the beginning of the indicated class session. I encourage you to discuss homework problems with your classmates, but each individual is responsible for doing and writing up her or his own solution to the homework.
