Gaim-Dict
Gaim-Dict is a plugin for gaim that allows one to do dict.org dictionary lookups from within a conversation.

Everything required to compile gaim.
A network connection (which isn't technically required for gaim!)

Directions
Installation.
- Download the gaim-dict package
- Extract it in the gaim/plugins source directory
- cd to gaim/plugins/gaim-dict
- run make
- cd to gaim/plugins
- run export PLUGIN_LIBS=gaim-dict/libdict.a to set the plugin library deps
- Build the plugin with make gaim-dict.so
- Load the plugin (Tools->Plugins->Load)
Usage.
From any converstation type:
/def [word1] [word2] ...
Gaim-Dict connects to dict.org to collect definitions. It doesn't send anything across a conversation connection. It's uses the well defined DICT protocol and the web1913 dictionary.
Configuration.
The plugin configuration dialog will allow you to select where you want definitions to appear.
