Class meetings: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:30-1:45 p.m., Mitchell Hall, Room 202.
Prerequisite quiz: Tuesday, August 25. The 30-minute quiz covers material from the prerequisite review slides and relevant textbook appendices.
Piazza is used for all class discussion, including announcements, questions, and discussion of course content. Please use Piazza rather than email.

We will spend the first week reviewing asymptotic notation and recurrence relations before moving into randomized algorithms. Additional lecture notes and assignments will appear here as the semester progresses.
