E-Mail:Adrian Faust is an undergraduate Computer Science researcher at the University of New Mexico, specializing in robotics and deep reinforcement learning. Adrian focuses on bridging the 'sim-to-real' gap by taking policies trained in simulation and adapting them for physical hardware to tackle complex motion planning tasks. His research has earned a 2026 CRA Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Award Honorable Mention and a Best Presentation Award at the 2025 Southwest Robotics Symposium. He has also published in IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters (RA-L) and has a first-author paper under review. When he is not in the lab, Adrian leads the Software Team for the Lobo Motorsports FSAE team and plays for the UNM Men's Lacrosse Team, which he co-founded.
