Arpit is a master's student in Computer Science at University of New Mexico. He did his bachelors in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. Currently, he is working on Reinforcement Learning (RL) and its applications in robotic motion planning. Broadly, he is interested in extending the boundaries of human knowledge in the field of Artificial Intelligence and help create an Aritifical General Intelligence. He is also a true believer of Ray Kurzweil's predicted Singularity where humans merge with the machines, achieve immortality and become superhumans! He certainly wants to be around when that happens. He also likes to challenge himself and try out new sports like Rock Climbing and Skiing whenever he is not busy hacking RL models.
