The View From Gocha La
The only disappointment to an otherwise perfect day was that, despite clear sky everywhere else, Kanchenjunga was still enveloped in cloud. In fact, we were lucky. As obscured as the peak is in this photograph, ten minutes later Kanchenjunga was completely hidden and did not reappear.
