Who would have imagined that the price for getting some help on a project would be giving away some or all of the rights that come out of the project? This could happen. This discussion will address the issue of why it is important to think about the circumstances under which you obtain help on a project before you solicit the help. The discussion will use some real life examples to illustrate the key points. Suggestions will be provided to help avoid unfortunate copyright consequences from your collaborative efforts. I will provide a brief presentation on these important copyright issues.
